This is a new idea I’m trying on my blog this year that was inspired by and – to provide a brief review of a picture book every day of 2018. This book title, Miles McHale, Tattletale, ISBN: 9781515807520, by Christianne C. I could see how it gets the idea across that some things should be told to an adult while others are not necessary. The tattling pledge was a little silly to me as an adult. Or even as a one-on-one story to start a discussion about the difference between tattling and telling. This is a perfect read-aloud for a classroom of kids who are finding it difficult to stop tattling. Miles has a really hard time not tattling, but soon learns the difference and even adds a second part to the tattling pledge! Personal Reaction: While tattling is those little things kids tell adults about that are inconsequential. Snitcher creatively intervenes.- 'Foreward Reviews'.
